Calling all Photographer and Videographer

The Volunteer Management Department of MERCY Malaysia is organising a “Photographer/Videographer Team” meeting and we are inviting more talented individuals to join the team.

The team was set up a few years ago by volunteers who wanted to capture and share their experiences of humanitarian work through their lenses. With this meeting, it is hoped that the photographer and videographer team can be reactivated with more activities planned including having quarterly meetings, organising contests and educational programs. The team would also be able to participate in local and international missions.

MERCY Malaysia Vice President 1, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ikram Mohamed Salleh will chair the first meeting in February, which will also see the attendance of fellow Vice President II, Norazam Ab Samah and MERCY Malaysia Honorary Secretary, YM Raja Riza Shazmin Raja Badrul Shah.

Venue: MERCY Malaysia HQ, Level 2, Podium Block, Citypoint, Kompleks Dayabumi, Jalan Sultan Hishamuddin, 50050, Kuala Lumpur

Time: 8.30am - 3.00pm

Please confirm your participation by emailing to rahim@mercy.org.my. Those interested can also submit photographs that you wish to show and share at the meeting. Closing date for submission is Jan 28, 2012.

Did You Know

MERCY Malaysia continued its School Preparedness Programme in 2008 which aims to promote a culture of disaster preparedness among school children and to increase capacity of schools and students to respond to disasters. The programme expanded its coverage to several states in the country.
