MERCY Completes White Nile Community Health Programme |

 In late 2007, disastrous floods hit 16 states in the Northern and White Nile regions of the Sudan, affecting some 94,000 families.
MERCY Malaysia set up a mobile clinic composed of Sudanese medical staff. Between November 1 and December 31, 7,712 patients were treated.
Subsequently, a community health programme was initiated which, until its completion on May 15, 2008, benefited 12,500 people affected by the floods.
