MERCY Malaysia has suspended deployment team to assist in the Friday,
17 February 2006, 0900 hours local time mudslide tragedy in the
Philippines.
MERCY Malaysia has suspended deployment team to assist in the Friday morning mudslide tragedy in the Philippines due to the Philippines Government being able to mobilise their search and rescue teams swiftly.
MERCY Malaysia will continue to monitor the situation.
