BURGER KING® is proud to announce the re-opening of its flagship restaurant located in the prime area in Suria KLCC Shopping Complex.
The restaurant, which opened eight years ago, was renovated in one week
and has undergone a complete transformation. With seating capacity of
250 and covering an area of 6000 square feet, the refurbishment
represents an investment of approximately RM700,000.00.
“We believe that the new contemporary look and comfortable interior of
the restaurant will prove to be particularly attractive to our
customers,” said Y. Bhg Dato’ Abdul Ghani Yusof, Chairman of Cosmo
Restaurants Sdn. Bhd, a franchisee of BURGER KING® Corporation in
Malaysia.
“In addition to the transformation, a dedicated kiosk counter selling
desserts such as ice-cream; and juices will cater to our guests who
desire snack or something sweet. The concept was adapted as a learning
curve from BURGER KING® restaurant located in Mahkota Parade which has
seen a positive impact towards generating the desired result,” Y. Bhg
Dato’ Abdul Ghani continued.
“BURGER KING® will continue to expand to further increase the brand
awareness amongst our customers thus generating healthy growth for the
return of investment,” said Y. Bhg Dato’ Abdul Ghani Yusof.
In conjunction with the restaurant transformation, BURGER KING® has
teamed up with Malaysian Medical Relief Society (MERCY Malaysia), an
organisation that is very active in providing medical and humanitarian
services locally and abroad. As a ‘friend’ of MERCY Malaysia, BURGER
KING ® in Malaysia is participating in the charity’s “Change For
Better” campaign (in-restaurant collection) and has so far raised RM7,
000.00. The contribution was presented to Y. Bhg Datuk Dr. Jemilah
Mahmood, President of MERCY Malaysia at the re-opening ceremony.
“It is indeed heartening to know that there is so much support for our
work throughout the community. Through our partnership with BURGER
KING®, we are able to strengthen our efforts to help those affected by
disasters,” said Y. Bhg. Datuk Dr. Jemilah Mahmood, President of MERCY
Malaysia.
