Volunteer Appreciation Day |

On 23 July 2006, Sunday, MERCY Malaysia organised a Volunteer Appreciation Day (VAD) in honour of its volunteers that have sincerely sacrificed their energy, time and heart in effort to assist MERCY Malaysia's beneficiaries locally and around the world.
Almost a 100 core volunteers and volunteers who have been on missions under MERCY Malaysia attended the appreciation day held at NPNG Sports Center, Sg Buloh.
Among the activities for the day were Telematch, Paintball and Futsal.
Team B1 emerged as the overall winner for the day after winning both Paintball and Futsal tournaments. The team was led by MERCY Malaysia’s Honorary Treasurer, Ir Amran Mahzan and comprised of MERCY Malaysia’s volunteers; Zahid, Norman, Nydzam, Ayof Baijun, Elliane, Ong Ju Lin, Zaidi, Zureen and Yana.
Honourary second runner-up who won the Telematch tournament were Team A1 led by MERCY Malaysia’s Executive Committee member, En Azman Zainonabidin and comprised of MERCY Malaysia’s volunteers; Syed Haris, Tajul, Hafizah Latif, Dzulkaernain, Razali, Hanafi, Yusof Hashim, Zullaili and Mansor Bagong.
MERCY Malaysia would like to extend a heartfelt thank you for all its volunteers and wish to see all of you again in the near future.
