Accomplishments

It saw the participation of student and teacher representatives from 34 schools in the district who learned the essentials of hazard mapping and disaster awareness raising. The participants were exposed to a variety of theoretical and practical sessions. They undertook school watching in the school compound and identified and photographed potential hazards. They then created a map and identified solutions to the problems found.
